Miss Mikayla (KK) has been training at Dancer's Turnout since the age of 11 and has been working at the studio since the age of 16. She has trained under award- winning choreographers in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. Throughout her 7 years of training, she spent 3 years dancing competitively. Miss Mikayla is passionate about the art of dance and enjoys mentoring and growing the youngest of dancers. She is currently 17 years old and a senior at Stockdale High School. She spends her Friday evening cheerleading on the Varsity squad for her favorite Mustangs. On Sundays you find her mentoring and teaching pre-school aged children at Church and fulfilling the rest of her leadership duties there. She has held that position for 2 years. Miss Mikayla plans to attend college locally and work on her Masters degree in Psychology. She will do this while continuing to pursue and teach her first Passion: Dance!
Miss Brea grew up as a competetive cheerleader and dancer. She started training Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, and tap at age 6. She began assisting classes at Dancers Turnout at age 15 and is now a full-time teacher for the studio and company team. She loves working with children and hopes to be an Elementary teacher after finishing college. Miss Brea is currently attending Bakersfield College and will soon be transferring to CSUB to continue her education in Liberal Arts. Miss Brea is currently volunteering in the nursery at Valley Bible Felllowship and loves doing things throughout her community. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, friends, and boyfriend.
Miss Kaci has been dancing since the age of 2. She grew up training at her family's dance studio Tehachapi Academy of Performing Arts, in all genres of dance. She has received many honorable awards for her technique and performance style. Miss Kaci has been awarded many top overall soloist and group performance awards. She wanted to share her love for dance and started teaching at the age of 17. Her students excelled in all levels and categories. Miss Kaci continues to excel and broaden her knowledge of dance and teaching when opportunity arises. She has been to many dance teacher seminars and professional workshops. Miss Kaci is looking forward to being a part of Dancers Turnout and sharing her love and knowledge of dance with her students!
Miss Kyli has been dancing in the arts for over 15 years. She has been dancing and competiting since she was 12. She has choreographed many award-winning competition numbers and helped train dancers that have taken their careers to a professional level. After receiving her BA Degree from California State University of Bakersfield in Education, she moved on to San Diego where she became an NFL cheerleadder for the San Diego Chargers. She also taught at different dance studios in San Diego, CA and was active in teh community with the San Diego Charger Girls. Miss Kyli has always loved the dance arts and wanted to help inspire young dancers with the love for dance and the arts out of her own dance studio, Dancers Turnout Academy of Dance.
